The Story Behind the Piece
Guided by Light is one of the most personal transformational paintings I've created, specifically designed for women navigating profound life transitions. Surrounding her are three foxes: two resting in stillness, and one playfully leaping forward. To me, they represent the balance of trust, wisdom, and joy that guides us when we allow ourselves to believe in who we are becoming.
The bold play of turquoise and orange gives this mixed media artwork both vibrancy and emotional depth. Every time I look at it, I'm reminded that we don't need to force our way forward—we can trust the light to guide us. This original painting holds a special emotional resonance, more than most.
