“Find your voice.”
We hear this phrase all the time, especially in creative or leadership spaces, but what does it actually mean? For me, finding my voice has been about discovering who I am, what I want to say, and how I want to say it—whether through words or art.
When I started speaking about leadership, I began to cultivate my authentic voice. It wasn’t an overnight process. I had to get clear on what mattered to me and what message I wanted to convey. Over time, I realized that a huge part of my voice was about transformation—helping people grow, inspiring them to lead with authenticity, and encouraging them to live a life they truly love.
But my voice isn’t just about the message—it’s also about how I share it. That’s where my art comes in. Over the years, I’ve brought the same themes of transformation and growth into my visual work. Through my paintings, I aim to inspire people to see the beauty in change and to embrace the messy, beautiful process of becoming who they’re meant to be.
Your voice is uniquely yours. It’s not something you find once and then forget about—it’s something you cultivate over time, letting it evolve as you grow. For me, the key has been staying true to the themes and messages that resonate deeply with my heart.
If you’re working on cultivating your own voice, here’s what I’ve learned:
• Get clear on your message. What do you care about most? What do you want to share with the world?
• Experiment with how you share it. Your voice might come through in words, art, actions, or even quiet moments of connection.
• Let it evolve. Your voice doesn’t have to stay the same forever. Give yourself permission to grow and change.
Authenticity isn’t about being perfect or having everything figured out—it’s about showing up as yourself, sharing your truth, and letting your voice make an impact in whatever way feels right to you.
